Welcome to Tire Recycling Atlantic Canada Corporation Website

"TRACC" as we have come to be known is engaged in the collection, transportation, shredding, crumbing, and the re-manufacturing of new products from scrap tires. Located in the Minto Industrial Park, “TRACC” operates in a 40,000 square foot facility constructed on a 16.6 acre site. TRACC began full scale operation in May, 1997 and has continued in successful full scale operations for the last 10 years.

The Province of New Brunswick disposes of approximately 1,000,000 scrap tires annually. Allowing for normal spillage of 20% due to scrap tires being recapped and other uses, TRACC will collect and process approximately 1,000,000 passenger tire equivalents (PTES) per year. This will represent approximately 13,000,000 pounds of recycled rubber to be processed.

TRACC has been awarded an exclusive contract by the New Brunswick Tire Stewardship Board to manage scrap tires in the province. We have adopted a closed loop tire management process. This process involves collection of whole tires from licensed tire retailers, shredding and crumbing the tires, and processing the crumb into value added rubber products and transporting the finished goods to market.

The company has technology which allows for the production of higher quality products than those currently being produced by other tire recyclers in North America.
